Living in the South as a Chinese national gave him the early inspiration in comedy.

Annette Mullaney

Annette Mullaney is a standup comic based in San Francisco. Her comedy is self-deprecating, feminist, existentialist, smart, vulgar, and full of big words to prove she's been to grad school. She's been described as  “improving” by friends and “off-putting” by dudes on Tinder she tricked into attending shows.

Her comedy has been described as “drenched in smilies that gives way to ah-ha moments”. She was recently featured on Live at Gotham and produces a monthly show in New York City's Upper West Side.

Ira Summer

Ira Summer got into comedy in his 50s, so people think he has a life. His comedy deals with personal issues like health, family and dating, and things that get on his nerves (like health, family and dating).  Ira will often joke about his sons, his siblings and his mother (but never his ex-wife, because she will sense it). Ira has performed in 25 states, has been a finalist in the US Comedy Contest and competed in The World Series of Comedy Main Event. He was previously the co-host of the podcast, Date Talk.

Nav Chima

Nav Chima is an internationally touring comedian who has performed on BBC Asia’s Big Debate, the Edinburgh Fringe, Greater Manchester, and London Clout festivals.

The Buxton Fringe described Nav Chima’s stand up ‘With faint echoes of New York artists such as Joan Rivers and Laurie Anderson, a parade of talking animals and objects, strangely uncaring people and dream like situations slipped by in front of our very ears’

Louie Centanni

Louie Centanni is a college professor by day and comedian by night. Based out of San Diego, he has performed all over the country, including stages in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles. When he's not molding the youth or doing standup, he's hanging with Dougie, his intensely anxious 140-pound Great Dane. Nothing he does impresses Dougie. Nothing anyone does impresses Dougie.

Goldie Hoffman

Goldie Hoffman is a comedian, actor, host, and writer. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY she spent her formative years in Montreal, Canada, living with her herd of siblings, her overwhelmed mother, and eccentric great-uncle, before venturing west to Vancouver & Los Angeles. Goldie's credits include popular television & radio, including ABC's 'Once Upon A Time', FOX's 'Lucifer', and BBC Radio, in addition to hosting events and award shows. Fun facts about Goldie that have nothing to do with comedy: she's a language nerd, speaking five -- none mastered, but enough to impress people at parties; she's from an ex-Hasidic family, but having left as a kid, doesn't have the cool 'leaving the cult' story'; and she's a thrift-aholic (aka 'hoarder-lite'). Goldie's excited to return to Portland for this festival!

Ashleigh Shapiro

Ashleigh Shapiro is an American comic, improv performer, and actor hailing from Cowtown Capital, Sacramento. Ashleigh was affectionately named after Ashley Abbott, a fictional character from The Young and the Restless.  Keeping true to her namesake, Ashleigh is also both young (do not ask for documentation) and restless.  There is not much time for rest while shuffling through her various lives as a comedian, actor, mom, and clinically insane person. Ashleigh has worked comedy clubs throughout LA and worked on-camera in television, commercial, and new media projects on both a national and local level.

Alyssa Poteet

Alyssa Poteet is a sweet little blond girl who was raised by her chain smoking, law breaking, construction working father. She's been described as a "give no fucks, tell no lies kind of gal". Alyssa was the 3rd place winner in 2019's US Comedy Competition, and she runs a charity show in Los Angeles called Philanthropy TBD. In addition to stand up, Alyssa channels her love of comedy into making silly songs with her band Tammy & the Roommates, creating sketches and her upcoming web series Dog Moms with her sketch group Try Harder Sometimes, practicing improv at Groundlings, and performing jokes to strangers on the Venice boardwalk. When she's not doing comedy, Alyssa loves to go dancing, do karaoke, and taking long walks with her beautiful dog Tammy.

Jessica Inserra

Jessica Inserra is an LA-based stand-up comedian whose irreverent humor explores, among other things, themes from her life as a gay woman growing up in a colorful New York Italian family. Jessica can be seen performing her unique brand of brash, edgy comedy at The Comedy Store and Hollywood Improv, as well as other venues in and around Los Angeles and throughout the country. She is currently working on her own stand-up special entitled, Jessica Inserra, Pretty Gay.

Recently she started a show at Sal's every fourth Wednesday, Midwestern Wednesday which has a rotating lineup of comics from the flyover states.

Annegret Steioff

Annegret was born and raised in a tiny German town that always smelled like burnt chocolate. When she turned 18 she was supposed to take over the family business but she decided to go to university instead - If only she had chosen something REAL like Law, Agriculture or backpiping. Instead she got her BA in Acting, WON (!) the green card and moved to the US.

She co-produces a monthly Show in Burbank,CA with an all-female lineup, you may know her from the Palm Springs comedy festival or various low quality student film productions.

Rachelle Cochran

If you’re looking for Rachelle, you’ll find her slanging jokes throughout the Portland comedy scene, slurping an IPA between sets. She’d describe her comedy style as “unique." Think of her as the lovechild of Ellen DeGeneres and The Lonely Island—a problematic vision for many reasons—who missed out on the dry wit part. Rachelle has been fortunate enough to share her observational comedy, boundless energy, and enthusiasm on stages at Seattle’s Highlarious Comedy Festival, Sacramento’s Comedy Festival Queer Comedy Festival, and Harvey’s Comedy Club, and was recently recognized by a waiter at 10 Barrel as “that one who didn’t do so bad” at Portland’s Funniest. Rachelle fills her free time working on her musical comedy, melting hearts with her banjo, DJing for the elderly, hiding from exercise, and eating chips and guac—YES, I KNOW IT’S EXTRA—to excess.

Mark Fernandez

Mark Fernandez is a multi-hyphenate from San Diego, California.  And by "multi-hyphenate", he means he's is a shitty golfer and an angry poker player.  Also, he has done stand-up comedy, written, and acted for many years, getting his start at the Comedy Store in La Jolla, CA.  So I guess that falls under the "multi-hyphenate" category as well.

He's an actual physical/cultural multi-hyphenate, since he's Filipino, Spanish, English, Chinese and German.

He's featured for many great comics, including Russell Peters, Felipe Esparza and Jo Koy.  He's worked major clubs and colleges all over the U.S, but he's most proud of the fact that he tended bar through the 80's, and got out without a child or an STD.

Christine Fekete

Christine Fekete hit the LA comedy scene running!  She's a seasoned actor and writer who first grabbed the mic in 2018 and hasn't let go since.  Christine performs regularly in LA's HAHA Club,  The Comedy Store, The Dojo, The IceHouse and others.  She recently made her Vegas debut at The LA Comedy Club in Las Vegas.  Christine is a Nashville native who returns to her hometown in November to perform at ZANIES Comedy Club.
